There’s nothing in the world like the adventure of motherhood.
As a mom, I get it! The first time I picked up a camera to take photos of my oldest’s impossibly tiny newborn hands and feet, I saw photography through a new lens (pun intended). Since 2007, I’ve made it my mission to help other parents capture every exquisite detail of their growing family, creating something extraordinary out of the ordinary. This season of life? It’s as magical as it is messy, and my portraits are statement art pieces that will help you remember it forever.
When I’m not helping moms channel their inner goddess, you can probably find me snuggled up for a Ryan Reynolds movie night with my teenage sons. When I need to escape the testosterone (because a girl needs space sometimes), I’m almost always grabbing a vanilla sweet cream cold brew on my way
to enjoy some retail therapy.
But enough about me; as a Akron family photographer, I’m here to tell your story! Whether you just got your first positive pregnancy test or you’re watching your babies grow up way too fast, I’ll be there for you.*

Ashley brings over five years of expertise as a licensed Cosmetologist, continually advancing her skills through ongoing education and exploring new services. Passionate about every facet of the industry, she actively participates in hair shows and modeling gigs, showcasing her dedication and love for her craft.
In addition to her role at Meg Bowman Photography, Ashley also shines
at A Cut Above salon in Wooster. She takes pride in offering tailored experiences, ensuring each client receives a personalized touch.
Outside of the salon, Ashley indulges in travel adventures, gym workouts, and flex yoga classes. Family holds a special place in her heart, and she cherishes moments spent with loved ones, whether attending gatherings or traveling to reconnect with friends and family in South Carolina.
