It absolutely breaks my heart to hear that a dog has lived in a shelter for a year. That is 364 days too long if you ask me! I had an idea... what if we brought some of the dogs into our studio to capture their personalities. Often times seeing a dog in a cage can really alter their true personality. They are usually scared, confused, and lonely. We want potential adopters to see the amazing personalities that these sweet furry kids really have. We work with the shelter and rescues to bring the dogs in for, what many of the shelter volunteers call, a glamour session. The volunteers are wonderful and make it a day out for the pups while they are on their trip. There is usually a yummy treat involved afterwards.
I also just want to give a shout out to those amazing volunteers at the shelters and rescues. I have witnessed so much love, kindness, hard work, sacrifice and tears from these women. They give such a HUGE part of their lives for these innocent animals. I am so proud to call them ALL friends. Please consider helping out by donating your time as a volunteer, foster (VERY needed) or funds (also VERY needed).
